Telehealth
Telehealth is a convenient, HIPAA-compliant way to receive quality care virtually rather than in person by using telecommunications technology to evaluate, diagnose and care for patients at a distance. It provides exceptional flexibility in how your care is delivered.
It works by using a secure platform, the provider links clients via an internet connection, web portal, and two-way live video. The client can interact with the provider just as he/she would if it was an in-person session. While working with your provider, you will have the option to have your visit from the comfort of your home or office. Through our digital platform, our provider is only a few clicks away. Whether it’s to ask a medication question, reschedule an appointment, or ask for medication refills we put you in the driver’s seat by offering ease of access to your team.
Your role as the patient is very simple. We ask that you be in a private setting where you would be able to speak freely and confidentially about the symptoms and progress of what has brought you in to be seen. You will be connected to a secure internet connection. While in your session, if you are on your cellular device, we ask that you place your phone in DO NOT DISTURB to minimize the risks of any technical issues. Also, we ask that you are not driving, in a public place such as shopping center, another appointment, or some other public setting that may be deemed unsafe or where confidentiality may be compromised. You may be asked to reschedule if the above requirements are not met at the time of your appointment.
